The Safe Out LGBTQ Youth Coalition is focused on substance use and suicide prevention among LGBTQ youth and young adults ages 13-26.
When LGBTQ youth are affirmed in their identity and supported in school, at home, and by their health providers, they are less likely to turn to substances to cope with stress, or to consider suicide.
Join us in these efforts through signing up as an individual or organization coalition member, by becoming a trainer, co-hosting a workshop or event, or partnering with us in other ways.
Our Mission: to improve the long term social, emotional, and physical health of LGBTQ+ youth and young adults through substance use prevention, suicide prevention, and access to care.
Our Vision: an equitable future for LGBTQ+ youth and young adults.
